I want it all...

 Hey everyone,

Sorry if  you were expecting a post on the importance of recycling, not quite the angle I'm going for today. But in case you were wondering, we do recycle lol. As I start to see the emergence of semi-annual sales, I know its time to have a midyear review of how my year is going and what I have accomplished or still need to work on.

It's great to set goals at the beginning of each year but a year is a long time and a lot of things can change during that time period. My first step is to REVIEW my goals from the beginning of the year. I look at the goals I wrote and decide which ones are still relevant and if there is anything I need to tweak or add.

Once I have reviewed my goals and decided what things need to be altered, I REWRITE my goals. Some goals may be the same but I am a firm believer in visually seeing things. When I write them again, it imprints them once again in my mind and reminds me of what I am working towards.

Lastly, I REFOCUS. This whole exercise does something for my mojo. I feel so empowered and ready to take on the world. By midyear, most people have fallen off the wagon but by reminding yourself of what you are trying to accomplish it keeps you in drive and you are more likely to the end the year with a bang.

I know writing down goals may seem so old fashioned but I really truly believe in the power of writing down the things you want to accomplish. I hope this helps you rock the second half of the year. You got this!!!

Hey ya'll,

I"ll spare you the long intro or the list of reasons why I've been MIA, we all are humans with lives and I am sure you guys understand. I have good intentions that sometimes don't always go as planned. I hope you guys are doing well and enjoying the start of the summer!

I get a lot of questions sent to me via email, social media, or even snap chat and one of the most common questions I get: How do you handle your husband traveling so much and your insecurities when he is gone?

I don't know if there is a right or wrong answer to this question but I'll tell you my take on it. To be honest, it wasn't always easy and it actually was very very difficult. It takes a lot of prayer and a change in mindset. Initially, I had to fake it. I had to pretend to be confident, pretend to be secure, and pretend that I didn't care that he coached some of the prettiest celeb clients. I knew that no man likes an insecure woman so even if there were times when I felt uneasy, I prayed about it and gave my worries to God and just prayed that He gave me peace and confidence. And guess what, with time I no longer had to fake it. I had a peace that even my husband didn't understand. I began to love myself more and realize that even if he was coaching the prettiest celebrity in the game, I was worthy and that if he cheated it would be his loss. There is no marriage without trust so if I couldn't trust my husband than I didn't need to be with him. The prettiest woman cant 'make' their husband or boyfriend be faithful, that's why you may see your favorite female celeb getting cheated on. A man has to have something bigger than him to keep him faithful. My husband loves God more than he loves me and he is walking in his purpose, knowing the man I have, I knew I had to love and let God.

So if you are in my position, you may have to fake it until you make it; but trust God through it all. He never fails you and He will have your back and give you the peace you need to make it through.
